I'm Baaaaccckkkkk....!!!

Hello there!  Bet you thought you'd never see me again.  I can't believe it's been so long since I posted  anything here.  
It's been a whirl wind couple of years.  I switched jobs. Started a business. Married off my oldest daughter (Pookers) and became a GRANDMOTHER!!!!  
Looking at that list, it's no wonder this blog got neglected.  In fact, I was thinking about abandoning it entirely and starting a brand new one to reflect all the changes.  I thought better of it though when I remembered how much I had put out in to the blogosphere and didn't want to lose.  There are some fun memories here that I want to keep.  
I will be refocusing some of my blog to reflect my newest hobbies, interests and things that make me say "hmmmm....".  For instance, one of my new favorite kitchen tools is my pressure cooker.  I have the Cuisinart 6 Qt. pressure cooker (not an affiliate link), which I love.  But I have to admit, I am drooling over the Instant Pot 8Qt model and hope to buy one in the very near future.  Keep watching my site for my favorite recipes, successes and failures in this arena.
In the work arena, I changed hospitals, went part-time and finally, went to days last fall.  Nearly all of my 29 years since graduating nursing school have been on nights, so suffice to say it's been a HUGE change to join the land of the living.  Hubby got laid off last fall, so we decided it was time to go in to business for ourselves.  It's been a struggle with long, long, l-o-n-g hours and lots of frustrations as we go through growing pains.  Keep your fingers crossed for us.
And last, but not least, there is this little guy.  Absolute sheer perfection.  Being the mother of 3 girls, the fact that Grandbaby #1 is a boy is an entirely new adventure for us.  I can't wait to see what the future holds!
